As part of our ongoing series exploring our \u201cHalf-Human\u201d side, we recently (virtually) sat down with our Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Legal Counsel, David Callahan.<\/h3>\n

How long have you been with Atiba and what is your role?\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

I worked as outside counsel for Atiba for 10 years and have been in-house since July of 2019.<\/span>\u00a0I currently serve as the Chief Legal Counsel and the Chief Strategy Officer.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What is your favorite part about working at Atiba?\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

It would have to be the people. It\u2019s hard to work with a company for a long time if it does not have great people. Atiba really does consist of some of the best people I have ever had the privilege of working with.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What motivates you to wake up and go to work? \"David<\/strong><\/h4>\n

I left the practice of law because I did not feel challenged in my area of specialty. This made it difficult to get motivated to head into the office every day. Atiba, on the other hand, provides me with<\/span>\u00a0diverse challenges on a daily basis. A company with a nearly 30-year track history that still has room to grow is exciting and challenging at the same time. For me personally, that is the combination that I enjoy.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\"DavidWhat is something most people don\u2019t know about you?<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n

That in July 2013- July 2014 I completed 52 triathlons in 52 weeks for a local charity…all with my wife and newborn first child packed into a small motorhome.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What\u2019s the best home-cooked meal you can make?<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n

I make a mean Bananas Foster.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Are you a morning or evening person, why?<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n

I am definitely a morning person. By about 8:30 PM I am wiped and looking for the bed. I naturally wake up early, so I like to get in my exercise and get the day started.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
